Piping hot pickled peppers

Far left is a picture of the first step in making hot sauce, pickling the peppers. These are no ordinary peppers though, they are Ghost Peppers (Bhut Jolokia) an Indian pepper that is among the hottest on the planet! Haynes grew these from seed because he really likes hot food, but may have met his match.
BEWARE, DO NOT TRY THIS AT HOME! Just by cutting the tops off these peppers and washing them in cold water my eyes were watering, he was coughing and his face was tingling. After the pickling he will put them in a blender with a little vinegar and molasses. If he can’t eat the sauce he will use it to kill a rhinoceros!
The little ones on the near left are bird peppers, hot but not in the same league as ghost peppers.
