March 24, 2015 by stowe farm

Liz Joseph from Heifer Int coming to Katywil on Sunday at 2pm to speak on No Till Growing More info…

Heifer International giving No Till workshop at Katywil Farm Community

Katywil Farm Community will be hosting an exciting, fun and educational presentation on the benefits of no-till growing with permanent raised bed weed prevention through mulches and cover crops and breaking ground for new garden space using cardboard.  We are a local community of gardeners and farmers and invite you to network and learn together. So, let’s catapult us all into spring at the end of March and attend this inspirational workshop.

The presentation will be given by Liz Joseph, writer, beekeeper, educator and farmer with Heifer International on Sun March 29 at 2 pm at the Katywil Farm Community at Stetson Brothers Rd in Colrain (follow signs).

There will be plenty of time for questions and answers and you are also welcome to stay after the presentation for an informal potluck of finger foods, hors d’euvres and desserts.

Please RSVP to [email protected].  A donation to Heifer International of $10 is suggested.
