Katywil turkey feather arrows

If you look closely you will see the *Katywil* turkey feathers that Mason & Haynes clipped off of some of the birds in November and then Mason fletched them onto the arrow shafts today.

Kyle, the very awesome & zen teacher/owner of Amherst Archery Academy, was so excited and equally enthusiastic as Mason to work on this project. They even got into figuring out the curvature of a left wing and a right wing and how that impacts the arrows performance. Who knew?!

And yes, ultimately the arrows shot straight and true with these new feathers and Kyle got a bulls-eye ;0)

Mason has one of the arrows on loan for just this week and would be happy to show it to anyone who might be interested in seeing it in person.
