Participants will learn how to graft a fruit tree and take one home. We will discuss different types of grafts, scion wood harvesting, caring for your new tree and more.
All necessary tools will be provided but feel free to bring your own pruners or grafting knife if you have them. A limited quantity of root stock, scion wood, and grafting knife will be available for purchase afterwards.
Feel free to bring a lunch for the break if you would like to hang out at Katywil before or after your session.
