High winds in a June storm blew the roof off this old travel trailer in Heath and its owner tore off the sides. Bill and Andrew asked him if we could buy it as the base for our chicken/turkey “tractor.”

Chicken and quail eggs Haynes’ turkey eggs have another 10 days in the incubator, but two days ago Andrew’s incubator with quail eggs started popping like pop corn! He opened it, they hatched and were hopping all over the place!
Building the Earthen Oven!
Big thanks to our fearless leaders, Ashley Schenk and Joshua Freund. We worked hard and steadily all day. What a great group and team effort. Sunday, June 5 we will have the Lime Plaster Workshop to seal it, and June 10-12 we will build a shelter for the oven at the Timber Frame Workshop.
