Are there alternatives to powering our towns and region with fossil fuel? Come learn some of the lessons from Germany’s “Energiewende”, its national effort to transition to a renewable energy economy.
This effort has spurred the formation of over 150 “Bioenergy Villages” across Germany. These German communities are using locally sourced sustainable fuels to produce all of the electricity and most of the heat they consume.
