Meet Maria from Lyonville Valley Farm

March 17, 2011 by stowe farm

Lyonsville Valley Farm in Colrain
Although it doesn’t seem to be happening fast enough, we agree with our Colrain neighbors, Maria and Jeremy, of Lyonsville Valley Farm, that Americans are moving towards the restoration of an agrarian society and that knowing the farmer and food source is increasingly valued. Supporting small local farms supports vibrant local human and ecological communities. We know first hand that their eggs, produce, and values are the best! If you go to their farm stand, you might see Moose and Miles training to be oxen power for the farm.
They can also be found at the Shelburne Falls, Conway, and now Greenfield’s Farmer’s Markets from May-Oct., and offer CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) shares.
