Reducing the cost of building a Green Home

February 12, 2013 by stowe farm

Help us learn about your needs by filling out this short survey (only 5 questions)!

Our list of green builders and ideas are growing. We put a survey link in our newsletter to learn what things are most important to you so we can taylor our Reducing the cost of Building Green Home series for you. If you didn’t receive a newsletter with the survey, you can take it here: survey . Responses will be anonymous (unless you want to add your email). We’ll keep you posted.

Stay tuned…

There’s no silver bullet, but we have been meeting some very creative folks with innovative ideas. If you are building a green home at Katywil or considering it, stay tuned here for details on our series. Several builders, architects, engineers, and homesteaders are offering to share their ideas. Size of house and life style choices are part of the solution and will be included in the discussion. Being part of a dialogue with people trying new ideas and experienced experts can lead to some great affordable solutions.

Alex and Jerelyn Wilson, of BuildingGreen will be helping us plan, along with future Katywilers; green architect, Peter Brooks and mechanical engineer, Lynn DiTullio. Claire Trail, Marlboro College student, and Katywil resident, Nancy Turkle are also part of the planning team. Check back here for details in February or register your email here for notification.
