Book group will meet on April 26

February 28, 2015 by stowe farm

Radical Homemakers book group at Green Fields Market on April 26, 3pm. Discussing up to Chapter 6, drop-ins welcome!

Radical Homemakers Book Group April 26 Green Fields MarketIs it possible to make a living and also have a life? A livelihood doing meaningful things, including family and friends, improving the world? Can we live with enough? What is enough?

Join Judy and Nancy, from Katywil Farm Community at the Greenfield food coop on Sun, March 8 at 3pm for book group discussion pondering these questions. Radical Homemakers, by Shannon Hayes, has inspiring examples, and we think it’s a good book to start this conversation. In her book, Shannon Hayes profiles homemakers (men and women) across the country who cast aside the pressures of a consumer culture and transformed their lives to give money, relationships, independent thought, family and jobs new meanings.

Discussing up to Chapter 6 at
Green Fields Market (upstairs)
on
Sunday April 26, 3pm.

You can order the book from the library
