Stowe Farm Community is located on the north-west edge of Colrain, close to Vermont. Our property encompasses 90 acres including individual house lots and shared land. Our homes are nestled on a south-facing hillside with Kennedy Ridge to the east, Stone Mountain to the south, and a view of Pioneer Valley in the distance.
The West Branch of the beautiful North River bisects our property. Skipping rocks from the sandy bank, hiking along the river discovering animal tracks (including moose tracks last summer!), catch glimpses of the beaver building his dam, the North River is a favorite summer spot.
The pristine clear waters of Vincent Brook flows down from Kennedy Ridge at the edge of our village of houses. It is an enchanting brook that we all love to stroll along or rest by in all seasons, dip our toes into the cold water on a hot summer’s day, watch the icicles form throughout the winter, and forage for mushroom on the banks in the fall.
The pristine forest of HO Cook State Park separates Stowe Farm Community from the Vermont State Line. Surrounded by so much wilderness and nestled on the hillside, we all enjoy the stunning changing night skies throughout the year.
