Oriole birds and bees

April 20, 2022 by Stowe Farm

Here are some birds and bees from Mason’s nature photography collection, Stormbringer Photography

From his Facebook: Surprise! The Baltimore Orioles are back! I quickly realized it was stealing sap/insects attracted to sap from the Yellow-Bellied Sapsuckers!

The sapsuckers repeatedly fly over to the oriole to try and shoo it away, though each time the oriole would just stand his ground and scare the sapsuckers off.

I can’t even describe how cool the chest looks all ruffled like that!
